What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Therapy and counselling are a long-term process whereby clients work with a qualified health care professional to focus on past traumas to understand present behaviours and emotions.

Coaching does require a little looking back at our timeline as this helps us understand where our limiting beliefs come from. In coaching we very much look at the present moment and what we can do now to improve our life moving forward. We are all about action and results in a very supportive, structured, and focused approach.

Counselling and therapy are the route to go for people struggling with their mental health as it enables the therapist to explore behaviours and patterns on a much deeper level.

Coaching sessions are structured and focussed on what the clients’ goals are. Every session has a clear plan but there is room for change depending on what is going on for the client on the day.

Coaching is not appropriate for people that require medication to support mental health but many people come to coaching after they have had therapy, are mentally stable and want to start taking action towards the future they want.

Can coaching help with anxiety?
Yes, once we understand your limiting beliefs and the thoughts you tell yourself we can rewire those thoughts so you can step into your true authentic self without all the self-criticism and fear around what others think.

Coaching is all about giving you the tools you need to maintain a positive mindset and feel less anxious for years to come. This will require you to keep on top of things once your coaching journey ends. The good news is you will know your triggers, what you need to do and how to prioritise your needs so you stay above your coping level of need.

Who is coaching for?
Anybody wanting to upgrade their life both professionally and personally. If you have tried other therapies or to go at it alone but haven’t gotten anywhere, coaching is often the change you need to finally see and feel the results you have been after.
Do I coach children?
Yes, as an ex teacher I love coaching children. Investing in mindset shifts at a young age can set our children up for the rest of their lives. They have already identified and started weeding out those limiting beliefs. This stuff should be taught in schools weekly, and I guarantee our kids would not be as anxious as they are these days! I adapt my programmes to make the content and tools used age appropriate and also depending on what’s going on for the young person.
What if I don’t know what I want from life?
If you’re feeling stuck, bored, uninspired and just don’t know where to start but you know you want more from life. Coaching is a great way to help you figure what you want and how to get there.
Is the investment worth it?
The question you need to ask yourself is, where do you want to be 6 months from now? If the answer is where you are now then no it’s not worth your investment. If you want change and to be living the life you deserve then I can’t think of a more important investment than investing in yourself. The work you do in coaching will last you a lifetime, it’s not a temporary fix. Change your mindset, change your life!
What if I don’t have the money right now?
I will be offering online courses that you can work through at your own pace as well as face to face and virtual real time workshops. This will be a more affordable option if you are not in the position to finance 1:1 coaching at the moment.

How do I pay?

Once you have had your free consultation with me and have decided you want to get the results, I will send a welcome email with all the necessary information. Payment plans are available and we will work out the best one for you.

Self employed? Did you know when you pay for my coaching, you can list it as a business expense? This can lower the amount of money you’re taxed on at the end of the year.
